Dear Jeanette and TA,
I am so sorry to hear that Joey passed. Pam sent me a text yesterday as I was telling her I'd found one of Helen Adams Jackson (2nd group of Raleigh's kids) had a daughter, same age as I am, living 5 miles from me. Go figure. Then the very next day she replied with the news Joey has passed. There aren't words to say that help except know he was loved and you are loved and he's in a better place than we are, or so I hope. He had worked with me on genealogy, but then he sort of stopped so Pam has picked up in his shoes. I dearly miss all of you. I found a picture the other day, in Rehobeth Beach when you were all young, with Mom, Pernell, I think Cole, Sherry and Jack, and Judy and pat and Diane. I did talk to Diane last night, for almost an hour. And I let Sandra Jackson McKean know this morning. Of Ralph's family, she's the only one left, and Diane is the last of Judy's. There simply aren't many left- maybe Denny, and maybe some of Uncle James' kids but I'm not sure of them. Ron and I wish you peace and love. Wish we could visit. Diane did say Amber bought the house, which I think is fantastic. I wish I had the one in Oxford. Its lovely now, but we're stuck in Delaware.

I knew Joey from Salem High School. I remember going to listen to his band rehearse. They could jam on the Rolling Stones! Joey was always such a nice guy. Always friendly. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
