The Furr's were our next door neighbors on Glenmore Drive when I was in Salem. Rodney and I played summer games in each other's backyard growing up.
He was a good friend and good guy.
My condolences to his lovely family.

We were saddened to learn of Rod's passing this week. We have worked with Rod at Feeding America for several years. He was one of the most dedicated, hard-working volunteers we ever met. In addition, he was a kind, caring, considerate person and one of the finest we have known. Feeding America will certainly feel his loss, as will those of us who looked forward to talking with him each week. He was a good man. Our prayers go out to his family.

We are so sorry to hear of Rod's passing. We worked with Rod at Feeding America for many years. He was such a wonderful and kind person, and a very hard worker. Enjoyed discussing VT sports with him. He will be missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Furr family.
