Suzan and Family, I was deeply sadden to hear from Dan about Bob’s passing. Bob was a great friend. We started out with me being a supplier to Pep Boys and Bob being the Buyer. The working relationship soon grew into a friendship.
I grew to appreciate his humor and we had many a laugh about our Companies; and life in general. He had a habit of calling me Friday afternoons and before the call was over, we were usually laughing about something. I appreciate how he was a gentleman and an “Up Front Guy”. He didn’t yell and scream; we just communicated and got things done between our companies. Both of our Companies grew because of this great working relationship.
I’m proud to say he was a friend and I will always remember him fondly.
My thought and prayers are for you.

Funny, sweet, caring, honest...the list goes on and on. The auto aftermarket was blessed to have someone like you as a part of it for so long. You taught so many of us how to succeed through being yourself. For me, you were a kind, caring person who always treated everyone with respect and earned everyone’s respect in return. When I think of you it is with a smile and that’s how it will always be. Rest now. You’ve earned it. My sincerest condolences to your family and friends.

I’m very sorry for your loss. It’s hard to imagine that someone who is so young , full of life and enjoys the things they did, go to sleep in death. Especially when you have so much more to offer. No one in history, who is healthy, wants to die. God has put eternity in our hearts and he wants us to enjoy life forever. (Psalms 37:29). Gods purpose has not changed and soon we will be under his rulership with Jesus being king. His Kingdom will end the sufferings we face. No matter what tragedy’s we face today, God, Jehovah, can undo it and reunite our dear loved ones again. I’m really sorry for your loss. Words do bring comfort but the Bible heals our heart.

Bob, you were like a brother to me and the dearest best friend I've ever known. I have so many terrific memories with you and I'm leaning on them very hard right now. These memories will be with me forever and will only grow more precious with time. I'm so grateful for having met you and to have been part of your life for so many years.
I don't know of anybody who suffered through as many serious health problems and complication as you endured over these final years and yet you still kept your wit and never complained. You have an incredible family who I've come to know and love. You will be missed so badly by so many. Rest in Peace my best friend. We will all pray for you and your family and we're all here to help them in any way we can.
