Linda Joan Jackson, age 73, of Roanoke, Va. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 22, 2019, in Roanoke, Va. She was born on Monday, October 8, 1945, to the late Jack C. Jackson and Thelma Gilbert Jackson. Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother, and a friend to all. Linda always, “told it like it was.”
She is survived by her spouse of 43 years, Samuel M. Hall; one son, Michael Lee Jackson, and wife, Tina; and grandchildren, Isaiah, Kerrington, Aidan, and Ayrissa; special sister-in-law, Serena France; numerous family and friends also survive.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the John M. Oakey & Son funeral Home in Salem, Va. Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
