When I lived in Texas I would drive to New Orleans to see Kathi. I had no clue that she lived in an area called the 9th Ward. To me it was a nice weekend trip with my boys. Mardi Gras she would take us to Metarie for the parades with a lean towards children. One time Andy ended up with three large paper grocery bags full of toys. He was on the shoulders of my boyfriend shouting "Pwetty Wady Fro me sumpin!" he was a charmer at 5 years old. Translated he was yelling Pretty Lady throw me something!

Kathi and I were both pregnant with our first children at the same time. We had some good times walking to the store getting doritos and Sunkist sodas. Good times. Loved her. She will be greatly missed.
