Obituary for David Ernest "Ernie" Collins
Ernie Collins, 66, of Elliston, Va., passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. He was born on August 14, 1952 in Montgomery County, Va. to the late David Andrew and Kathleen Alice Duncan Collins. In addition to his parents, Ernie was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Ann Weaver.
Family remaining to cherish his memory includes his wife, Donna G. Collins of Shawsville, Va.; sons, Dustin A. Collins of Shawsville, Va., and David Slavicek of Texas; brothers, Duck Collins and wife, PJ, of Blacksburg, Va., and Mike Collins and wife, Pam, of Elliston, Va. Four grandchildren also survive.
Per Ernie’s request, all services will be private.
